Decades of Trusted Expertise

Established in 1990 by Graeme Gardiner ACR, Preservation Solutions specialises in the conservation and preservation of paper-based collections, ranging from the smallest family archives to the largest museum and institutional holdings. We employ a diverse range of freelance book and paper conservators and are thus able to provide a service that is tailor-made to suit the complex requirements of unique collections. This flexibility makes us unique and ensures that no collection is too small to care about or too large to cope with.

Preservation Solutions operates from a large studio near Cambridge, where conservation treatments include the cleaning, mounting, and framing of individual works of art on paper; the repair and rehousing of papers and letters; and the cleaning, repair, and refurbishment of bound manuscripts and archives.
